Hey peeps ?
Hope you guys are doing well! I’m back from Lilly’s bachelorette weekend in Barcelona and have catched up on all the sleep I missed during this weekend ? Now I’m ready to tell you all about it.
I left for Barcelona Friday morning and met up with some of the girls at the airport. I cried when I saw Lilly again because we haven’t seen each other for 3 years! Even though that’s a long time, it’s like nothing changed ❤️
Since all the girls were arriving at different times, we agreed to meet in front of the reception, pick up the keys for the apartment and go decorate it for Lilly. While we did so, she was distracted by Linda. When we finished, we put on “Gasolina” by Daddy Yankee and guided Lilly in with a blindfold ? It could not have been a more perfect entrance, she started dancing and was really happy when she finally got to see the apartment!
On Friday we took it easy, since we were first able to check in at 3pm. So we were just chilling on the back porch for some time, catching up, and then slowly started getting ready for dinner. We had dinner at SOMEWHERE , a trendy cafe, serving all the stuff that’s currently in on Instagram (like Avocado toast, Acai bowls and the like) ?. Their attention to detail is remarkable and just something somebody like me appreciates ?. So if you’re ever in the neighborhood, I definitely recommend checking them out.
We got ready in the morning and headed again to SOMEWHERE to have breakfast. Afterwards we made our way to the beach to spend the whole day there. The weather was gorgeous, just perfect for a beach day. We took some photos and just relaxed there the whole day. At 6pm we went on a boat cruise for 3 hours and just had a blast! I got a little sea sick in the beginning because the waves were enormous but my stomach calmed down after some Coca Cola ?. The whole boat basically only consisted of Bachelor and Bachelorette groups, everybody celebrating getting married in their own way. We arrived at the shore again around 9pm and started walking home to get ready for partying. We went to Otto Zutz, a club that has 4 rooms with different kinds of music. We were in the Hip Hop/R&B room, where we got a VIP table. The music was amazing, so we danced all night and had a blast!
Sunday was a slow day, obviously. We all slept in and took it easy. After breakfast, we walked through the city and did some sightseeing. Since we left the apartment pretty late, we didn’t manage to see everything we had planned but that’s alright. We concluded the day with some pizza & snacks at the beach, which could not have been a better idea! We laughed like maniacs all the way home, which warms my heart, thinking back.
I had such a great weekend with all these girls and am so happy that I could be part of it ❤️. This weekend was proof that true friends are never apart, maybe in distance but never in heart ❤️
Thanks for stopping by again & blog to you soon!
