Wine tasting in Rust
Hey babes ?
Hope you are all great – I know I am because I finished 1 of 2 exams that I have to hand in by the end of August ? Honestly, I’m so tired of these exams but it has to be done, so it’s better to just get it quickly over with and not procrastinate and suffer for longer ?. That said, I dream myself back to summer vacay and still have some photos to share with you.
The outfit you see in the pictures was what I wore when I decided to go on a sightseeing day with my parents. My mom wanted to show me a city called Rust in Burgenland already the last time I was visiting, so we deemed it to be the perfect destination for a short city trip. It’s an old city known for their local wineries and historic Austrian architecture – so the perfect place to spend a day ??. We walked around the city center for a bit so I could admire all the cute little wineries and cafes. Then I laid eyes on this one winery called Elfenhof, in this delicately rose building that fit right to my outfit ?. Obviously, we had to make a pitstop at the place and admire their wine bar. Then we sat down and enjoyed a glass of their wine. I don’t remember exactly what the one I had was called but it was a sweet white wine mixed with some grape juice – which was ridiculously delicious ?! I’m actually not a wine person, I hardly ever drink some and if I do, it has to be a sweet one otherwise there is no way I can drink it – ? ???
Anyway, we then moved on to dinner at Lake Neusiedl with a nice view – the perfect end to a beautiful day ?
If you are ever somewhere close to the capital Vienna, I recommend you make a trip to this charming old city in Burgenland. Especially if you love wine! ??
Thanks for stopping by again & blog to you soon!
