Hi peeps 🖤
I hope you are doing great and enjoyed your weekend! I certainly did – on Friday I went to dinner with the girls, which was super funny! I ALMOST managed to keep all my make up on 😂 (those of you that know me also know that I’m crying easily when laughing 💁🏽). Saturday was probably one of the laziest days in a long time! I slept in and was basically laying on the couch all day, until we went to eat pizza with Fabian’s family. Pretty productive day, I would say 🤔😄 And today, we went to the gym and got some chores done.
Now, as you may have seen on my snapchat or Instagram, I ordered some chunky sneakers from Nelly.com. I’ve had them for about a week now and wanted to write a quick but informative chunky sneakers review for those of you that are considering to order some as well. So let’s get into it.
Size & Fit
I ordered them in size EU 39, and they fit me perfectly. I gotta say that they are the most comfortable shoes I own – they don’t look like freaking orthopaedic shoes for nothing 🤯.
They come with 2 pairs of shoe laces, regular white- and striped ones. I’m wearing mine with the striped ones for now. I like to style chunky sneakers with denim but to be honest, they fit with everything but a ball gown 😅
Benefits & Drawbacks
The benefit is definitely that because they are so chunky, you have a platform, which makes you taller and gives the impression of longer legs. It’s nice for girls that want to be taller without having to wear heels to casual occasions.
A drawback is certainly that they are squeaky – although not on all types of floors. When you walk on regular tiles or pavement, they make no squeaky noise whatsoever, it’s only when you get to linoleum covered floors. So, that’s a little annoying.
Other than that, I don’t have much to say about them. They are great shoes for their price and can definitely be recommended 😊.
Thanks for stopping by again & blog to you soon!
