Hey peeps 🖤

Today’s topic was suggested by a couple of you in my Instagram story brainstorm and I actually think it’s a great idea to talk about!

I just started my 3rd semester on my Master, which is basically the last 3 months in my life during which I have to attend classes 🎉 After that it’s “just” writing the thesis! The classes I’m currently taking are quite technical but I chose to go this way to get some more skills in that domain:

Data Science: Data Driven Decision Making
Cloud Computing
Big Data Analytics
Artificial Intelligence in the Marketplace

Right now, I have a study job at a software/marketing tech company in Copenhagen called AudienceProject, where I work 2-3 times a week depending on my schedule. My official job title is Junior Consultant, which can mean a lot, but in this case I’m, so to say, the link between the Marketing & Sales and the Tech department. I’m hired as a Young Talent, which means that I will be hired full-time after my studies (if I do well of course). I get to help out a little in every department to ultimately see what is most interesting for me to work with and where my skills are best suited for the company. Some of my current work tasks are to help out with product development for one of the many products the company offers, which is super exciting! If you’re interested in more details about how a typical work day looks for me, I can dedicate another post to only that. Let me know here 👈🏼 if you wanna read that.

I really like the company and its organizational culture, which is why I’m planning on staying there full-time after graduating. So, that is kind of the plan for the near future.

Let’s take a walk down a more future-future path 😅. As I’ve mentioned once or twice before, Fabian & I are working on developing an app. What the app does or what it’s for is a topic for a whole other blog post. Once the app is done, there will be a lot of work that has to be managed in terms of company on boarding and business development in general. So, the plan is to work on it next to our regular jobs and establish our own company. Time will show whether that will be a passive income kind of thing or an actual full-time job we have to devote our time to 😊.

Now, obviously I would also love to be a full-time blogger and get to do the things I love and collaborate with awesome people.

I will work hard to achieve all of these goals one by one and I’m of the opinion that you can achieve anything you set your mind to. There is always a way to realize your dreams, and as cliche as it may sound, you just have to want it bad enough. Don’t be upset with the results you didn’t get from the work you didn’t do. Output = Input. Do what you gotta do to get what you wanna get 🤩.

If you would like to know more about some of the things I mentioned in this blog post, share your thoughts & ideas with me and fellow blog readers HERE. Oh, and you don’t have to provide your real name if you want to stay anonymous 👀😚.

As always, thanks for stopping by & blog to you soon!

Love, M.
